One standard, every jurisdiction: designing geo-local verification
Global Standards · May 2026 · 6 min

The UK's FCA CONC sourcebook, the US Truth in Lending Act, the SACCO statutes of East Africa, the EU Consumer Credit Directive — each jurisdiction writes its own rules about what a lender must disclose, how interest may be charged, and what happens when terms change.
VSBX treats those rules as data. Every supported jurisdiction has a mapped rules profile: disclosure requirements, rate-change notification duties, penalty caps, grace-period conventions and reporting obligations.
The audit engine then evaluates each agreement against its local profile — producing findings that are meaningful to the local regulator, not just to the consumer. That is what 'geo-local alignment' means in practice.
